Set in a peaceful valley of 2,000 acres stands an 18th century great house called Good Hope. The Great House overlooks the Queen of Spain Valley, the meandering Martha Brae River and the mysterious Cockpit Mountains. The views from Good Hope are among the finest in the Caribbean.

The Good Hope estate was the basis of one of the largest sugar fortunes made in 19th century Jamaica and contains a rare inventory of historic buildings that have been restored. In the 20th century Good Hope helped establish Jamaica's tourism industry by becoming a socialite's dude ranch entertaining royalty and renegades alike.
